This is my family. I have a sister called Virginia and a brother called Alfredo. My sister has two daughters whom I call “Las Mamarrachas”. My Mom’s name is Beba and my Dad’s name is Alfredo. They all live in Argentina and I miss them VERY much.

This is a crazy picture we took by the swimming pool for Christmas 🙂

Cause and Effect Paragraphs

The Causes and Effects of Littering by Macaria N.

Littering is a problem in the neighborhood where I live. There are many cultural reasons behind this problem. People were not taught how to keep the outside area of house clean. They don’t think about environment pollution. Another cause of littering in the neighborhood is that people don’t recycle. If my neighbors think about the consequences of littering, they will learn to take care of the environment and prevent human diseases.

Water Waste by Jose V.

Wasting water is a serious problem in my town. One cause is that there are people who don’t have control of water. Many adults let their children play with water or take long baths. Another cause of wasting water is that people use too much water washing their cars or let water run. Due to the wasting of water there could be a drought. If residents continue using water carelessly the water bill will be high and they could be fined. Wasting water also affects plants and animals. If everyone takes control of this situation, I am sure it will improve.

Everyday Life Conversation

Edwing, Geancarlos, and Alfonso wrote a dialog about a man calling customer service to make a complaint.

Customer: C

Customer Service Representative: CSR

C: I’m calling to report a problem on my cell phone bill.

CSR: What’s wrong with you cell phone, sir?

C: it says I owe $300 for phone calls to India and I don’t know anybody in India.

CSR: I’m sorry sir. My  supervisor will review the charge  before you send the next bill.

C: Thank you, I’ll wait for the next bill.
