Day of The Books
Happy Spring Day!

Do you know why we celebrate spring day today?
March 20th is the day of the year when the Sun crosses the celestial equator going from South to North. This day is known as Vernal or Spring Equinox.
What is equinox?
According to Oxford Online Dictionary, Equinox is “the time or date (twice each year) at which the sun crosses the celestial equator, when day and night are of equal length (about September 22 and March 20).”
This is an interesting video that has very good illustrations about this natural phenomenon.
